Bob i have a 88 in 308 its a fine gun, shoots as well as most bolts have a 32w.s. in a old 1894 saddle ring cabine, fits me well & shoots great. In the 70s i shot some moose up around Valley View with a 99 sav. in a 308 also a very nice combo. ollogger

ive had winchesters, marlins & a ithica all in levers nothing bad bout
any of them, have a henry in 22 mag now its sweet , But sixgun
nailed it with his 63 win. i have one & its a real hoot to shoot &

It was a horrible thing! We had a murder outside the landmark bar 2 weeks ago, guy shot another over a gal, then this guy shot his 3 kids, 17, 14, 12, and his brother then went after his wife. She has made it through the injuries however how to live with the rest is going to be the challenge, thanks...

most of the time on open sights i shoot high & left with a new purchace rifle, so i shift to centre & put on a new front sight, my 32 ws has a notch sight & not having one i filed a penny down till i got it lined up at 2 in high at 100 yd IMO age light & hold of sights & gun all ...

my wife got me one off ebay a while back made in Babylon N.Y.
put it on a rossi 45 & my groups shrunk alot, now i like the gun after i figuered out it was me. it is windage adjustable also & says
for 92 & 94 rifles no mod. #. any one know about S & M ?

not sure what normal is, in the house there every where,always 1 in the pickup or more, carry a revolver out side always,mostly for rattle snakes around here, when i lived in Wis. i took a walk behind the house one night & got charged by a giant Black Bear he came in roaring like i never thought...

you have your work CUT out for ya! is the timber thick? if so you could be looking at 10-15 cords per acre maybe more, ware your saw chaps
speaking from experince here, hard hat is a pain to ware BUT

hey thanks to all of you, the 375 is wore out to its had bout 50 rounds shot in it & i put 8 through er i like it. have 1 son & a neice on a list so far for a gun or 2. I may put a new old weaver 2-7 on the 88, not sure bout that yet, ollogger

went to wis. a few weeks ago for some family doings. my dad is 82 now & has some health issues & said he wont be huntn any more. i asked him about some brass that he had for his 375 win. thinking i could use them for my 38-55 he said he had some & said give me a minute & soon returne...

a few years ago our well went dry, so i borrowed a 1000 gal tank on a trailer & filled it in town, we took our baths out of that till our new well was drilled & that was cuz we had to. showed the wife your tub, she said you need to come here

but only after i siffted thourgh a dozen of the worst rusted guns ive ever seen not to mention the beating they took befor the rust started a 97 win that wouldnt pump, S&W pistols that wouldnt revolve, a cute FN 25 that was junk, some i didnt reconize, it was sad a gun in a scabbard caught my ey...

ive had 22s for years, there easy to shoot,easy to carry,ive used them on 1200 lb steers to bunnys, my favorite now is a old high standard dbl.9 with a swing out cyl. makes loading & unloading easier on my wore out fingers, still i like my 357 & 45s though

have a 22 mag in brass its real sweet, also a 357 GB it shoots better than any of my other levers, it fits me better also, is it my favorite ?
no cant say that, ill give that to my made in 1886 -- 73 winchester

seen one today new in box its in 38-55, its the short hunter has a tang sight, oct bbl & i liked it, one problem i know nothing bout the gun, he said bout 750.00 would buy it,my gun book doesnt have the 38-55, i checked GB they had a buy it now for 950.00 on one any help would sure be welcome ol...

the W.R.A case has the flat nose, have REM-UMC 32 spl that has a flat nose HP looks like a factory crimp , W.R.A is lead, REM is copper
