A .452-.454 flat nosed wadcutter would be a hell of a hole punch.

On the other hand, a reversed hollow based wadcutter would be huge! In more ways than one.

Update....Simply Rugged and Barranti Leather Co. are working on holsters and spare ammo slides for this experiment.

Subject sixguns have been shipped. This is starting to come together.

Rumor is that two jurors are holding up the verdict. They are fearing backlash and that the media will leak their names putting them and their families in danger.

The Judge just shut this down for the night based on the Jury's request.

Very good! Thanks for sharing. I do wonder about the velocity of those bullets over 4 gr of Unique but no doubt that nobody wants to take one in the belly.

I tried the Hogues and saw no difference. So I dug deep and found these. Dry firing they feel more solid in my hand. Won’t know till I get back out to the ranch.

Let’s try this. Edited to say: I ran out to the ranch and the Hogues did not seem to cause any improvement. I’m fact my Glock 43 was grouping much better at 25 yards than the Redhawk…and that little gun is not terribly easy to shoot well.

Are you gripping the piece with a "heel index" as with a single action (plowhandle) grip? For me, I find that a heel index doesn't work well with the Redhawk, too much inconsistency shot to shot. It's a large gun with the thrust/bore line high above the grip, more so than an N frame. I ha...

I've got the crock pot running this morning with a batch of venison chili. No secrets, I use the McCormic's chili seasoning and I cook it in the crock pot for at least fouor hours. I'll make some cornbread later and that's what we will enjoy today.

Looks like all big city police departments are making plans for the next few days. Chicago is cancelling days off because of a manpower issue.

I think it is because they feel that this thing will be over with today or on Monday and they anticipate rioting.
