If by favorite, you mean the one we use the most, it would have to be my 1895 GS. I've taken to using it more than any of my other rifles. If by favorite, you mean the one with the most sentimental value, it would be an old Winchester single shot .22 lr.

My grandfather's last ship before he retired was the Vestal. His retirement didn't last long as he was recalled when the war started. Unfortunately, he didn't see that war end. He died from natural causes in San Francisco in 1943. Pretty good way for an old China sailor to go.
