Re: Best Lever Action Cartridges.
All of those cartridges are excellent for at least some things. Bear in mind, these were the author’s opinion on the best that came from certain time periods. 30-30, 45-70, and various revolver length cartridges definitely dominate today. Most everything else is not made anymore and difficult to fin...

Re: Arm Brace Trap
I don’t see how they were ever NFA compliant. If You cut the barrel of your rifle to 10 inches you have a SBR. Put a buttstock on a Contender with a pistol barrel-SBR. That’s why trappers, UZI, MP5, AR, AK, etc carbines for U.S. civilians have barrels of least 16 inches. I never saw how making a AR ...

I read the article. Its slightly faster than 35 Remington and significantly faster than 350 Legend. Doesn't kick much and kills well as you might expect from a slightly faster 35 Rem. Performance seems to be right between 35 Rem and 375 win. It doesn't hang with 356, 338 MX, 444.. good cartridge but...

I don’t hate the idea of it. I get who it is marketed to. I don’t live in those places nor do I understand their regulations. If a shot is unsafe at 2800 fps it is unsafe at 2200. I will read it when my copy comes, but who makes rifles for it? I’m all for new developments but this seems very niche. I see almost no reason or advantage to owning a sixgun in .45ACP. I much prefer a semiauto in .45ACP, and I hate moon clips. They may make a revolver quicker to load, but still not as quick as dropping a magazine and stuffing in another. For me a revolver in .45 colt makes far more sense, and is fa...

Unique is extremely versatile and there is so much data from mouse guns to twelve gauge. Power Pistol is pretty good too at least from 9mm/38 to 45s.
I found Unique to meter much more precisely with a dedicated pistol powder drum.

I think the main attribute this cartridge has over other straight walls is that it will run in a AR-15 possibly in standard 5.56 mags and with the same capacity. See above. Probably depends on the specific 38 load as to whether it will function. I would think the journey from the magazine to the elevator would be the most critical phase. If you kept over all length similar 38s could work. Think lots of lead sticking out of the case. Not wadcutters or 110s.
