I purchased a pair last year at an auction in Virginia !
Paid $450 for the 256 with an extra mag and $400 for the 30 Carbine .

I have an XLR rifle in each caliber they've made so far and to be honest I've never noticed the hanger being loose or tight on any of mine .
I just take them out the box mount a scope and shoot ! Then kill a deer and put them away .

I had originally asked my local dealer to get me both of these ! He called Davidson's and was on their list !

What will be interesting is watching to see how many of those new rounds will still be in Marlin's (or anybody's) lineup in a few short years. But who knows.
