Re: Need some ideas to get rid of MOLES...
I have pocket gophers all over the place. I have tried water/drowning, Juicy Fruit gum (clogs their innards), gopher gassers, etc. Bought two Cinch traps and caught 10, which was a start, but then they seem to get wise. Other methods include firing up the old Maytag hit-and-miss engine and running a...

I'm looking at replacing my late Brittany with a Pudelpointer. The breed was developed in the 1880s in Germany and Czechoslovakia when hunters crossed the German Pudel (French poodle) with pointers. These dogs take most of the prizes in versatile gun dog competitions.

I don't care for these guys much myself either, and will not tolerate them where family and pets are likely to go. I appreciate their role in an ecosystem and all that, but think their highest and best use is for the skins to back a nice primitive self bow.\

If they were made legal here, my only interest would be to try to build a working replica of a crossbow from the Middle Ages, just for the historical experience. This is the weapon that popes once banned as "evil" because it allowed a relatively untrained commoner (vs. an English longbowma...

Are crossbows legal for deer in your state?
Our department of fish and wildlife here in Oregon is considering allowing them to be used by disabled hunters, and the local archery community is having a conniption fit.
