Swagman, kudos for bringing this up. I knew nothing of it either, and am ashamed to admit how little I know of the war in the south and central Pacific. I should know more, three of my four uncles fought in the Pacific Theater. What a blessing the Japs never developed a successful four-engine heavy ...

Ji, you might want to wander over to Airgun Nation to check the vibe on the big Hatsan. Also, the reviews on it at Pyramyd Air are worth reading. Gcs, I had the Hatsan 95 in .25 and found it extremely hold sensitive, but it sure carried the freight. The 95 in .177 and .22 is supposed to be less sens...

I never got good enough to drive a 16d vinyl sinker in less than three strokes on a good day with my framing hammer -- and I always left mule tracks. A 40d hot-dipped ringshank has to be a workout!

Jason, that was my initial reaction and then I told myself, wait, haven't you paid gunsmiths to add scope mounts to revolvers before? (Yes.) I think if I had one I would mount the scope and then remove every piece of that rail not absolutely necessary. It would be fine as a hunting tool.

EG, those 405-grain Corelokts are fun to shoot, but as they approach 1600, not so much at least in my experience. I loaded some to 1800 and just did not care to shoot them. That Decelerator would have helped.
