Doc, you bring up a valid point. Perhaps the warning is due to folks who have shot a lot of 38 SPL, built up a lot of residue in front of the cartridge case and then tried to switch to 357 Magnum without cleaning it out. That would cause feeding problems with the mag rounds and maybe even cause a ch...

If you're loading for an old original British revolver in this caliber, I'd not suggest powder coating as the lube on a normal bullet helps with the powder fouling. I'd MOST DEFINITELY not recommend using smokeless powder in these old poppers. The pressure spike is different from the good old black...

Those pellet pens work fine for a break barrel rifle, not too handy for a fixed barrel with a loooong scope over the port. I'm a lifelong airgun shooter! when I was a kid my cousin and I would carry pellets in our mouths as we roamed the country side terrorizing the wildlife (!!!!!) but, for the most part I always did - and still do just dump a few in my pocket.
