If they're over your property, they're invading your privacy. You have every right to bring them down. There is shotgun ammunition designed for the purpose.

I'm guessing that in this case, bringing one down would almost instantly identify the owner/operator.

It's an informative article, but I don't know that it's particularly revelatory.

Wound ballistics is an interesting study. Knowing what a bullet does on the receiving end helps a fellow make responsible choices.

If we're referring to my comment about the M6, I didn't condemn the firearm, I said I didn't like the trigger.

It wasn't an issue of cleaning or maintenance, and it had nothing to do with break-in. I just didn't like it. As in: "Not my cup of tea."

I was thinking about a light "survival" type firearm to store in my truck tool-box for those nothing better to do or just-in-case type of situations. I don't travel the back roads down south so much anymore so I don't usually have my "truck gun" (Marlin 1894C or Model 94 Trapper)...

In Texas this is already leading to mass poisoning, because Animal Control considers any hunting option to be 'unsafe'. They claim that secondary damage in the food chain that may result from poisoned meat that might be consumed by predators is of less concern than wild-eyed rednecks with guns. :roll:
