Re: The great MSG Hoax of 1968
We lived for a while in England. On the food ingredient labels were numbers following certain ambiguous ingredients like broth, stock, natural flavors, yeast extract. Those numbers led to a list on a .gov website that lists the allowed ingredients associated with that number. I. Was. Effing. Horrifi...

Re: Suppressors and accuracy…???
Good topic. I’ve wanted one for a 22 but I am afraid to touch the gun. It’s one of the first Ruger 10/22 takedowns. It doesn’t have a threaded barrel and after I tried a dozen or so different rounds I found one that is stupid accurate. If I sort the rounds by weight it’s even more accurate. I would ...

Re: Reloading Tips Browning 95 in 30'06
See if this helps: “ Winchester did proof tests on the .30-40 Model 1895 at 60,000 psi, but that was, of course, not a service load. The modern Miroku-made 1895's, both Brownings & Winchesters, do fine with current .30-06 & .270 factory loads, many of which probably well exceed 47,000 psi.” ...

BLR in 358w 53 in 32-20 1886 45-70 Superposed 20ga They all required work to be great. BLR trigger and barrel constriction. 53 got Stevesgunz treatment. The 86 had barrel constriction. To prevent some future owner from harming the firearm or themselves with full power 375 loads I vote for the 38–55.
That said, personally I would go 35-30 because of the wide selection of projectiles and molds.

Every household should have at least one Ruger 22.
Apparently Bill Ruger didn’t want to make a 22 pistol. So he created a great one with the most frustrating field strip of any firearm made.

Was able to sneak out to the range with the Blackhawk for 24 shots. Took six’s advice… dragged an old folding plastic workbench and a kneeling mat and a sandbag and square targets. First off I am inexperienced with a single action revolver. I can shoot a K-frame well both SA and DA. Went out and shot 100 rounds in the Ruger Buckeye today.
