Due to weather, barn owner making changes, waiting on material we knocked off early today so I went to the post office and get some info on tracking. Seems the distribution center I see on tracking is not a USPS facility. So who knows what or where it is!

Midway ships UPS then transfers to USPS and that's where the order goes cold. I checked tracking again last night, now supposed to be delivered by the 6th. Meanwhile, I ordered another FCD and a box of Hornady Bee bullets directly from Midway as I don't have much faith the first order will ever show...

That's a LOT of cabinets!

We started the 2x6 T&G , it's southern yellow pine( same thing as pressure treated but not treated) and it has more twists, turns, warps than the Snake River. Hydraulic jack to get some of it in place!

Bullets showed up today! Packaged in 100 count zip top bags and taped folded over then inside a larger envelope folded up into a flat rate box. Seems they have found out a good packing system.

The unknown is what powder is in the factory ammo? It could be some blend we can't get and they are just shown as Xfps so if anybody complained then Winchester could say SEE - this is what they actually are doing. Sounds like false numbers Scott. Sky screens? Bright sun or overcast?

I got 1820±/‐ with 210gr 41 mags with lilgun out of 20" and questioned the load, another test on a different day showed the same.

I'd say test them on a different day.

The slide going back into battery will work with a 14lb spring but it will be moving too fast with +p+ to the rear, that's why the 16lb spring.

I just ordered 200 of their 46gr .225 gcfp to try in this 92 with the 218 barrel.
No crimp groove but I've got a Lee FCD on the way.

So new kinetic puller showed up. Still no joy. Screwed my Lee C press down, seat the bullets 10 thou deeper on RCBS press, swap to LEE with wire strippers and BINGO they slide right out ! When setting the bullets deeper a loud CRACK as the bullets move. I can't believe how much neck tension there is...

The first rifle I made in school was a 338 WM, then when Federal brought out their 338 Federal I bought one. Both killed elk just as easily as the other. My WM is a tad more accurate than the Ruger Hawkeye but the Federal is MUCH more pleasant to shoot! :lol:

Today the tanks for rain water showed up !
All new construction over certain square footage requires these tanks to collect rainwater and slowly leach into the ground instead of running off.
