That guy has a good channel. I'd love to have one of those Anschütz chassis rifles, but $4,000 is so far beyond my pov-line pay grade that I can't even dream about it. Will, that Federal ammo -- was it the stuff with the dimple in the center of the case head? If so, I came in second in a 200-yard ma...

It's cool using heavy equipment all right, but the biggest I ever ran was just a middle-size Caterpillar backhoe. Loved to hear her diesel purr to life.
Gosh that looked like a nice structure, though.

Thanks Walt. I have been going through the calibers in my mind, and barrel lengths as well. I like the looks of the Bisley, but never shot any of the ones I had side-by side with the same load in a Blackhawk with conventional grip. My hands are medium size and the Bisley may be just beyond optimal f...

Ray, your post reminded me that 30 years ago I had a Lend-Lease Victory model with the King's Broad Arrow acceptance mark in .38 S&W -- or .38-200 in British nomenclature. When I finally found a source of proper .360 200-grain RN bullets for it (from the defunct Liberty Bullets in Oregon) it sho...

Jim, that very configuration -- the 10 with four-inch HB, is about my favorite Smith. I agree, this revolver simply wants to shoot. Brian's recent post reminded me of RIA's very basic, fixed-sight 4-inch .38, although it runs like a Colt and not a Smith. Very affordable, as in $249 MSRP. It might ma...
