The sad part is that if there's 7,000 grains in a pound, 100 pounds is 700,000 grains, so if you didn't lose any lead, you'd only get 2,000 350 grain bullets from 100 pounds...! To non-shooters that sounds like a huge amount, but then to non-golfers it seems strange to have more than a half-dozen go...

Goats will self-nurse, and you often have to use 'teat-tape' to prevent it. Ironically, they will OFTEN refuse to nurse their newborns, so you have to milk them, and bottle feed the babies. PITA if you ask me, but wife likes goats.

I tried a bunch (including the Pachmayr and Hogue) and wound up going back to the factory wood ones for awhile, because the Pachmayr's stung more on the rear part where it hit the palm, and the Hogue's were too narrow and made the gun feel wobbly in my hand (like holding a deck of cards for a grip)....

That's why I like Stainless guns, if something like that offends me I can just smooth it out with some emery and stones, and don't have to worry about refinishing the whole thing, or will cold blue hold up or blend in. I like blued guns a lot, but this is one of the reasons mine tend to be stainles...
