I always thought it was a rather expensive magazine for what it contained, and rarely bought it. It could be a sign that the cowboy action fad has seen its peak. With each passing day, there are fewer and fewer aging baby boomers who want to dress up in Gus hats and spotted chaps on Saturday mornings.

Looks like that Lehigh all-copper slug as loaded by Lehigh and Underwood is the go-to for personal defense with a .380.

I'll admit that little Browning is somewhat dainty, but it does fire from a swinging-link locked breech just like the 1911. I would think it a bit sturdier than blowbacks, but I am no gun designer.

Blaine, I was impressed by a Jayco Jay Flight Baja Edition trailer at an RV show in Redmond a couple of years ago. Seemed like it had a lot of clearance and was priced well. Do not confuse with the Jayco Baja line of pop-up camp trailers.

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. I will be shooting the Lee 325-grain 476 from a Bisley Super Blackhawk in .480 Ruger at 900 -1000 fps. Frankly, if Ruger made a push-through sizer in this caliber, I'd buy it and put on gas checks, but they don't, so I will see how this bullet shoots unchecked and repo...

My understanding is that a bullet designed for a gas check can be fired with perfect accuracy without same. Is that your experience as well, assuming velocities are kept moderate?

Well I got the base pin back in, only to find the ejector won't move but an inch before binding. Guess I need to disassemble and check for swarf or burrs. You'd kinda think they'd catch this stuff at the factory.
