Re: What do you guys think of the Winchester 22 Mag lever gun?
I have both Henry 22Mag and Puma 357. Love'em both but for different reasons The Henry is slimmer and carries better. Dont have to worry about chasing brass. Wouldnt wanna shoot a deer except in survival situations. But 100 rounds of 22 mag is easy to carry all day. 357 lever like a 25/20 is a must ...

Bought one at the gunshow and want to put it a GI web belt. Has the scabbard that doubles as wire cutter. Cannot see how they are attached to belt. Its smooth with a rubber type covering onthe upper 1/2 of scabbard. Any ideas?

I've used the Hornady .45 lead bullets in 45 colt and 45 auto carbines. No leading from 900-1250 FPS. Read on another forumn bout a gent that used a hair dryer on is LLA bullets for 15 minutes. Said they were dry and not tacky feeling after that.

They didn't make very many. Does it still have the factory iron sights still mounted on the gun? My guess is that this gun's probably more value without that Bushnell scope than with it. Actually can't remember if it does, know it it had the front sight tho. Just was shocked at the price. Pitchy I ...

Great Question. Its because the 30/30 isnt accurate to punch paper or powerful for more than an anemic 'yote. Unless of course you put in a 10" or 14" barreled single shot pistol. Then its good enough for moose and elk to 200 yards
