With the exception of blackpowder or shooting over 2200, I never saw the need for anything better than beeswax/alox. Nothing personal, but Paco's Apache Blue is/was not cheap. Just my .01 :D -----Sixgun

Terry. As far as the sighting system goes for your rifle, the best choice for you would be a solid receiver sight.
