Re: OT: Cat Owners Are Cleverer - It is Official
College degree, enough hours that if I would have stuck with just one course of study that I could have had a Ph.D., and never owned a cat. I like dogs, and while I don't dislike cats, I don't actually like them either. Does it matter? Not really. I would bet that 86er would be a dog person. Anyone ...

I don't think it is the camouflage for me. I think the excess weight from not enough hunting and fishing is what does it to me. Notice that I only was in one single picture the whole weekend. The cameras didn't have any wide angle lenses.

Otto, that is a very common misunderstanding. ASL actually uses no helping verbs, and almost half of what is to be expressed happens by expression or where the hands are placed. Mike, as posted elsewhere, I used a CPB 425 grain .475 WFN powered by IMR4227 out of my model 92 Puma in .480 Ruger for the second hog. It was 150 pounds, and a rather dramatic stop. It was feeding and moving intermittently, and I shot it in the upper left side in the ribs. The pig rolled 270 degree...

The reason I have a Puma in .480 and a Ruger SRH in .480 is that they can use the same ammunition. I took 5 shots from a scoped .44 mag to kill my first hog. The second took only one shot from my Puma .480. I added an insurance shot with the Puma, but that wide flat point 425 grain cast lead slug from Cast Performance did what 5 .44s didn't do. It knocked the hog off its feet instantly.
