Re: Wood stove for small space?
madman, You're far more edjamakated than me, I'm just a dumb wireman. You're the dude with the EE BSS. So I would ask you right back, how's that work????? If you input 1500 watts, how do you get more watts out? You can't even get the full 1500 out, you know that, nothing is 100%. Burying the elemen...

I asked... Are you taking orders and shipping guns? I am about ready to place an order for an 89 Carbine but recently heard rumors that you were no longer accepting orders. and the response was... We are beginning to fill existing back orders, and have to fill those first. Hoping to catch up this s...

Re: Big Horn Armory - Model 89 - Anybody get one? Report?
Just so I don't cause any more heart burn, I sent an email over to BHA and asked if they were still in business and if I could drive over to Cody and buy one of their guns. I have been seeing for quite some time that they were retuning money from orders, so we shall see.

Please define road hunter. Do you mean from a truck or a car, or do you include everyone that hunts from a road or vehical, including ATVs? This is the first time that we have had a serious outage since we built the house in '87. We have had outages of not more than 12 hours about three times since then. Most people don't buy camo guns and clothes to hide from deer, its to hide from other hunters. Turkey, yotes, bobcats and duck hunting camo works but you can sure hunt with out it.

I keep a Marlin 22mag bolt gun in my truck 24/7, I keep the bolt in the center console and bring it in at night. That way folks don't see me carry in a gun every night and if the truck is taken they don't have a working gun.

Welcome longshot how far up in BC are you, I hunt elk and moose in NW MT with a 300 savage and it works just fine. For many years all I used was a 30-30, save your time and money and develop a accurate 308 load for your 88 and go whack a moose, elk or caribou. For dark timber a 180 or 200 gr and fo...
