I like looking at the Henry's in movies, you can tell approximately how many rounds are loaded by the position of the follower.

I used shorts in my "Erma" levergun, mostly on Rooks because it increased the mag capacity and the range was short.

The biggest shot I can find for my 16GA are BBs, I know I could reload shells with something a bit heavier but I think BBs inside a house are big enough. Plus it's what I would use in my scattergun for Foxes. Well that's what I'd tell the Judge anyway.
