Re: Wolf population in your state
Hi Ben, Yep, the wolf issue here in WI is a cluster**** ! Had two wolves trot by me about 200 ft away this past regular season. Heading back up (SW of Grand View) for muzzleloader in several days. Politics has ruled WL Mgmt far too long here. The science has and is, being ignored ! The answer begins...

I watched about 2/3 of this yesterday and agree it's a good movie, hopefully will finish it today between loading in firewood for our "long season" here.
One can pretty much assume it was no different for the Allies across no man's land.

A few years back I wanted Mic to work on my Marlin 30-30CB, however, unfortunately he was having health issues and not taking any work.
I do have several of his books, first one is his Metallic Cartridge Reloading (very worn now).

Savage 340's are decent rifles, my only experience is with a 30-30, which shot very well. The bolt action has only one locking lug, so it's not especially strong.

I tend to prefer CCI over anything else due to their consistency. But these days if I needed primers I'd grab whatever I could. On another note, the CCI small pistol magnum primers are the same primer as the CCI small rifle primer. Exact same primer in a different box. I was reading in one of my ma...

Small Pistol Primers
A local sporting goods has a bunch of primers all of a sudden.
A quick question ; Quality wise - is there much or any difference between CCI & Federal ? I'm just starting to load 357 and they have Federal small pistol/magnum for 74.99/1000 and CCI small pistol/ magnum for 84.99/1000.
Thanks..

I like the "twilight aperture" that Williams offers. I use them on both leverguns, In recent years I hunt with the aperture removed and the "slot" still acts like an aperture, it just allows more light and a larger sight picture.

Looking at these two 20 gauge autoloaders for upland hunting (grouse, woodcock and pheasant).
The Benelli M2 is an inertia gun and the Winchester SX4 is a gas gun.
Any of you folks have experience with either or both of these shotguns ?
Thank, Vic
