G-M shot alot of the H&N .177 wadcutters in the 70's very accurate and smacked hard, these would give the best of both worlds.

For my thoughts and simple mind i would do a pistol length gas port and use an adjustable gas block. Before the mbsv, was gonna make pistol in 300 or 350 and figured that was the best result.

Larkbill, got an old box of Herters 3/8" thick , fiiler wads for 20 gauge. There is 500 of them. Also have a bunch if various 20 gauge plastic wads too. Shipping will be a slight buzzkill!....

predictable outcomes. would have been more informative if he had added a 38 spcl 100Gr wadcutter load. that way there is like for like. the 158Gr bullet has LOTS MORE momentum. which makes his comparison a little ambiguous as far as the likeability of the 32. a 38 spcl shooter can load his cartridg...

Lol, i like the disclaimer, i really change my attitude when the 1st thing someone says is: they cut, hacked and bubba'd up a piece of history. I like those laminate stocks, especially the green or gray version. Whats scope is that, Vortex make a scout or long eye relief?
