Re: Westley Richards Enfield Sporting rifle
I've heard of several old time hunters that eventually tried some the pencil calibers, then went back to their original 303 because it always killed game, usually dead right there! Never had one but I wish I did!

Looking at that I got to wonder if he's Palestinian? Question of hunting ethics don't even apply, it's obviously a lack of Moral Conscience! Look at what's ahead, possibly people nearby. But I got to wonder if he kills it? What he'd feel like, dressing, dragging, or just loads it up to go? SICKENING!

Bill, I've had great success with LVR, but I've seen others similar success with cfe223, so which ever is most accurate is the way to go, velocity difference will be LITTLE IMO! But yes, if possible try the LVR!

Re: 30-30 Shootn
I'm pleased with those one loads and their velocities. The velocities are parallel with the reloading data on the Barnes site for a 24" barrel. My first load, 32.7 = 2,101fps and the 33.2gr = 2,129fps. Barnes data list 33.8gr as the max load giving aprox 2,165fps, so if I added another 1/2gr lv...

Well I've been anxious to try a few new bullets in my Winchester's, especially the Nosler 170g Partitions which I bought over a year ago, luckily getting them for 1/2 the recent prices of today, and thanks to BillinOregon, the Barnes Original 190g FN, both in my Mod 64. Drawdown: Truth be told I doubt there is a better jacketed bullet for the .30 WCF than that Nosler Partition.
