Hey, finished product looks great to me! Actually for most deer hunting around here, that'd be hard to beat, brush & heavy cover deer rifle 2nd to none, a 12ga slug is awesome load. Can't hunt with 00Buck here, but lotta states down south permit it, and rightfully so!

If you don't have a place to shoot every day, you can still buy snap caps and practice aiming and firing every day. It keeps the shooter practiced during times they can't shoot. I was specifically working on follow through yesterday. Howard Hill used to teach that when you loose the arrow “with both arms do nothing!” I have a tendency to get off the trigger too quickly when the hammer falls. For most my Leverguns Lusting years it was either a Mod 1876 in 45-60 or a especially a Mod 71 in 348W. But ever since learning of the 33wcf in an Mod 86, this is the one! Just know this rifle & cartridge would fill my fancy for hunting, shooting, and reloading with a truly great old Winchester!

Hey I'm impressed very much by the 50yd & 100yd! Look at best 7 of 10 @ 100yds, guessing aprox 2", and i doubt that rifle has anywhere near a benchrest trigger, like most leverguns!
