do the cows ever sit on people and eat their guts and ignore the screaming? because that's the sometimes end caused by an animal that can outrun a quarter horse. and silently sneak up on you. i know of three people who died that way. A second vote for the Q Trash Panda.
I shot my Mini Fix today with the suppressor just to check zero.

Re: How About 1 Caliber and Done?
I’ve thought long and hard about this….yeah I know, I’m not that bright. I can narrow it down to one cartridge and one load. I could get by quite happily with the.45 Colt and the factory Remington 250 grain load. The box says that it clocks 750 fps but in my Colt it averages 830 in my 4 3/4 inch Colt.

Bullseye is my go to powder for the .38 Special and will be as long as I can get Bullseye.
But I don’t try to go that low on powder charges.
I understand that Bullseye was used to load factory .45 Colt ammunition for many years.

There is very little I cannot accomplish (for me) with my Winchester 1892 in 45 colt, with the exception of long range of course. Hunting- check Home/Property Defense- check Plinking- check Saddle Gun- check Long Range- well, I will give it a whirl 🤣 That lines up with my thinking as well. Think ab...

I found a dead guy in the hallway of an apartment building. Re: Thinking about a new press
I’ve got a Lyman torrent press that is very similar.
I use it on only rare occasions. Almost everything I load is done on my Dillon 550.
I have a little RCBS press that would take up much less space and I seriously think I may go back to a single stage as little as I use the Lyman.

The idea is not original to me. I saw an article that Brian wrote right after the Ruger factory.44 Special Blackhawks came out.
He started off shooting 100 rounds of the same load (240 gr XTP and 19 gr of H110) through his test gun before doing accuracy tests.

I much prefer fixed sights on a using handgun. If it is set up right you don’t need adjustable sights.
My Wylie Clapp SP101 rear sight had to be glued down as the set screw simply wouldn’t hold it in place.

The Pachmars are comfortable but too large for a revolver of this size.
I also intend to go back to wood factory grip panels on the Redhawk.
