Re: Another double action wheelgun in the house
Smith & Wesson is doing a great job on these newer revolvers. I’ve got a Model 69 (.44 Magnum 5 shot on an L frame) that is really well put together with longevity improvements that are really smart.

Re: The Last Outlaw movie review
Many actors used to train so they would look good on a horse. That’s because there used to be a lot of people who actually worked on a horse and knew the difference. Burt Lancaster showed how to use a Sharps in “Valdez is Coming” Tom Selleck did a great job in “Quigley Down Under.” But the actors di...

The Last Outlaw movie review
An interesting story with some unusual stars.
But it kills me that they didn’t teach the actors how to actually use a Sharps rifle!
But the takeaway lesson is to count your bullets!

Good move. I think the more people who enjoy their God-given rights the more difficult it will be for the lefties to try to take it away.

I was in another shop yesterday and they told me that they had a three day approval on a suppressor.
So suppressors are moving off the shelves much faster now and it is encouraging more people to purchase them.

I feel bad for Thell Reed. No father wants to have to go through this.
I don’t know if she deserves to be found guilty. I’m not on the jury and I didn’t hear the evidence.

I had an early Kimber that was reliable and accurate.
But the ones I have tried in recent years have been a mix. Shame too because Kimber really takes the sharp edges off. I sure like that.

Out of the box, I don’t really know. .44 and.41 probably have better chamber dimensions as I have always opened chamber throats on a .45 before it shot like it should.

Broke Back Mountain Cowboy
It’s a cold and dreary day, by Texas standards, so I donned my Carhart barn jacket and felt hat and went down to vote. A young man was standing at the 100 foot mark and he had a black felt hat on too. He was electioneering and asked whether I was voting in the Republican primary. I said that I was a...
