Re: My leverguns... and other.
I'm not a hunter, I just enjoy shooting targets at the ranch. But if a friend invites me to hunt, I would go happily! I lived for more than 10 years in different ranches in the provinces of Santa Fe, Cordoba and Entre Rios (in Argentina) but mostly I only had small game. I hunted 2 or 3 pigs or wild...

Re: My leverguns... and other.
Sorry for the late reply...
I never saw someone using a "boleadora", and I worked in at least 6 o 7 different ranches
But you can see them in some houses hanging over the fireplace

Re: My leverguns... and other.
Thanks Paul for the info. I knew about a little about Colombian gun restrictions because a investigateted before going to the Brahman World Congress in Bucaramanga in 2018. Couldn't bring any "souvenirs" back home. AJM Over here we still can find the most common calibers. Ammo is expensive...

Re: My leverguns... and other.
That's great information, very thorough. Are foreign hunters still able to bring their sporting guns in for a hunt? [I hear that the dove hunting is incredible.] Hi Scott As I understand, if it didn't changed, yes, hunters are allowed to bring their guns, but sadly, now they have to take them back....

Re: My leverguns... and other.
Nice stuff dude.....it's always nice hearing from people from far away ....I'm always interested in other country's gun laws and I noticed you have handguns......is owning a handgun a major problem? The Colt Lightning .....you don't see many carbines......I've found Colt Lightnings to be as rugged ...

Re: My leverguns... and other.
Thanks guys! Jason, if you ever decide to come to Argentina, let me know! In 2000 I visited Wyoming and in the last 4 years I went to Texas 4 times to the Houston Rodeo, but was almost all work no fun (not really, I had a great time at the International Room :D). I'm my first trip to Texas I was inv...

Re: .45 ACP Leverguns
Hi Paul! I was trying to get them in the US because I have family over there and my son is visiting them next month (for the moment). I can bring dies and molds, but for brass, bullets or presses, I need a to fill a request for a permit, and today the office that gives those permits isn't working be...

Re: Lee Classic Loaders @ Amazon
Those little buggers are expensive these days. It could be what's going on in the industry -- and the world too... My twin says he's selling "used sets" of reloading dies and he's getting $80 or $90 per set -- USED. Old No7 I've been trying to find online (US sellers) Lee dies set...

My leverguns... and other.
Hello all. I joined last year but haven't posted anything until yesterday, and now that I did, I think is appropriate to introduce myself. My name is Enrique, from Argentina. I'm a young shooter (50 :D ) that started as a kid with air rifles, then .22 carbines and when I was 21 (legal age to get my ...

Re: .45 ACP Leverguns
Thanks gamekeeper! That is what I most probably do... Changing a caliber here is complicated as guns are registered and you must inform the change of caliber, if you find the parts and the gunsmith to do it. I'm trying to find .38-40 and .45 Colt dies from Lee in the US, but all the online shops I c...

Re: .45 ACP Leverguns
Sorry for the very old post "revival". My name is Enrique, from Argentina. I arrived here searching about the possibility of converting a Marlin 94 .38-40 (build around 1905) to .45 Colt. It was my grandfather's and was not fired for at least 50 years. There were missing the rear firing pi...
