A quick search says Lowe's carries the Minwax brand, but I was in there last week and didn't see it. I'll look again. Apparently, Amazon has it and the price has nearly quadrupled since I bought my last can - some 30 years ago. Goes a long way on furniture. I suppose it's not a bad price these days....

My apologies for the late reply.

They quit making paste wax. Can't find it anywhere here and it's going for over a hundred bucks a can on eBay and Amazon.

If you're seeing it all over the place, it must be old stock and I'd surely love to wander into one of those stores myself.

I do rough-out for IWB holsters specifically. In t his application, there is an actual benefit in that it contributes to keeping the holster where it's supposed to be. Still need loops or clips, but it makes a big difference. Anyway, it's hidden between your trousers and your underwear, so who cares...

I've heard the stories, but...... Glad someone who's been around a while said that. I have owned a number of Taurus firearms and all but one have been excellent guns. The "one" was a beautiful blued, 4" .32 mag revolver with horribly oversized chambers and my brand new Starline brass...
