Our shop is buying leverguns and selling them. However, prices are, to my thinking, just a bit high. On the other hand, the dollar isn't worth what it was and that has to be accounted for as well. We sell LOTS of Ruger American and Savage Axis rifles for less money or just a little more with a scope...

CCI Standard Velocity does have better reputation than the Green Tag among local 50BR shooters. I've been using SK Standard Plus in my 52C-HB this past season because that's all I've been able to get.

Test show that if one does go off you likely wouldn't be missing fingers. .38s I don't worry about EXCEPT don't use wadcutters. Now hot .357s, I'd be wary but I use FPs or HPs anyway.

I would bet that we're not getting all the information. We never do. Same at the shop. I do the same when I take my vehicles in for something if I don't know what's going on and it is due to ignorance of the subject.

Not an expert but recently picked up a 52C and after research don't think the checkering is factory. That's a Ken Viani mount on it. Just put the T-36 Weaver on today. They want me to shoot this Sunday! I don't think so.
