Seating depth? I think the XTPs are accurate, albeit in my Marlin 1894C, I use the max charge or Lil'Gun, CCI Mag primers and just about any .357 Mag case (all trimmed to the same length).

Scoping a 94 is like having salsa made in New York City or a USofA flag made in China.

The slickest setup I saw (aside from the usual AR) was a Mini-14 (one of the new ones) with a scout scope.

I think that with the extras that $1200 looks pretty fair. I didn't pay quite that much for my carbine which was NIB but then again I shopped quite a while for it.

You need to be concerned about PRESSURE and not VELOCITY. Your rifle chambered for the .44 Mag is safe with all standard .44 Mag loads. Here in VA it would only be legal during other than the regular gun season for deer. Really good camo does help get closer to deer, even when still hunting. Even issue woodland camo works in our area. The KEY, I think, is to cover the FACE and to not have big eyes, aka glasses.
