I keep just a plain old 1917 built Model 12 with a little over 18" of barrel hand for serious social discussions.

Re: rossi 92 454
Does the brass bulge like the .45 Colt and .44 Mag gun's do ? If your brass bulges the chamber must be oversize. My .45 Colt's don't do that. Neither do the .44's. Don't own one but have read where many have had that issue with the new Rossi rifles. Was thinking about a .454 but was hesitant on tha...

Re: 310 kit for .38 Special
You are correct in the title , some of the info is correct. As far as I can tell Winchester never made a tool with a mold attached . They required a three piece set . The Winchester tool seated a primer , seated a bullet and crimped it in. There was a separate de priming tool and you had to use the ...

I use the 310 stuff a lot, it's what I learned on 56 years ago. Also use the Tru Line Jr press and dies. All the 310 and Tru line stuff is getting hard to get for people that actually use them on account of the collectors.

Howdy Folks, I finally got the '86 and the 336 that was keyholing.... The '86 was built in 1890, the 336 built in 1958.... OK, the '86 seems to be in good mechanical condition, but the bore is the worst sewer pipe I've ever seen ....... Sad.... OK, the 336 bore took a .305 pin gage.. (Micro groove)...

A 42 by all means unless it strains your budget. I have the CZ over and under and love it. A Remington 1100 in .410 would be nice also. That said , I seldom shoot mine due to shells being so high and hard to locate. I shoot my 28 gauge CZ sbs instead. 28 gauge 1100's are extremely nice.

Mine is a long tang 1936 standard with the bolt peep . Love it to death , only took me 55 years to get it . Eventually want to trade my way into another one to build a .450 Alaskan . Wouldn't mind an '86 TD in .33 Winchester to go with them with the shotgun butt.

Once upon a time there was a remote spot at the southernmost end of the appalachians that had so many deer there was a browse line so complete that the deer were hungry. If the finish is original it would be an ok price , wouldn't call it a deal . Being an auction it may not get a bid or it might bring $1500 depending on who bids . Four or five years ago in my area that would have been a $400-$500 rifle but now you can't hardly find a Winchester or Marlin for sale i...
