Dam Gentleman, some fine old Ruger Blackhawks! Six is showing off his fantastic collection again! I guess I can't blame him! I've got one Blackhawk that's 20+ years old {357} Now I'm thinking of buying a 1996 Vaquero in 45 Colt. I'm worried about the sights being off. I had one year ago that was off...

Re: I was talking with some friends about the S&W Model 10
The Smith model 10 are great shooters for sure! For some reason I traded my 1967 !0-5 about a year ago. I did get in return a 1964 Smith model 19-1 with a 4-inch barrel. I put a vintage Tyler T grip adaptor on it. One hell of a shooter! Not a month later a 1978 Smith 19-4 snubby walk into my gun sho...

It's true! I'm not even sure what a dooryard is.
Back in N.Y. you had a stoop!

My great aunt had a home built here in 1964.
So, I've been coming up here for many years!

A quiet Christmas day, just the wife and myself.
Some fresh haddock and ocean scallops along with a few Guinness!
Unusually warm here in southern Maine!
I took my S&W 18-4 out for some rimfire plinking.
43-year-old Smith still shoots fantastic!
Merry Christmas!

I recently handled a Ruger Marlin 336 in 30-30 for the first time. Super nice craftsmanship by Ruger!
I can still find 40-year-old Marlin JM's for much less. So far, I haven't purchased any Ruger Marlins.
That may change in the future. Anyway, I think Ruger is putting out some quality Marlins!
