Loved Paco's AB lube but since I can't get it anymore, I use White Label Caranuba Blue lube on pretty well all smokeless loads without any issues. I powder coat some Boolits and on some rifle slugs that I plan on going above 2000fps, I coat the boolit with a much thinned LLA before I run them thru t...

Had a mule deer come thru the yard a few times late last Fall, and she only had a bit of hair on her rump about the size of my hand. No hair otherwise, anywhere. Thought "winters coming and she won't make it". Turned cold and never saw her again.

Re: Is Reloading Getting Too Expensive to Consider?
On some things like 9mm, maybe be cheaper to buy, but for so much else, reloading is a lot cheaper. I can load 45-70 350gr lead bullet loads for about $8 a box, vs the gun show price this last weekend of $60 a box. Hate to think what a box of 32-20 cost, or 44-40 or 45 Colt, but bet I can save a lot...

Almost looks like the mag tube is bent downwards a bit. You could move the adapter back to where it should be and use some blue loctite on the mag tube to hold the adapter in place. I would tighten it a bit more so with added torque on the screw and loctite, it should stay in place.

Just been diagnosed with this and wondering if anyone else had dealt with this? How did it affect your shooting? Did you have to lay off for awhile or restrict what you shoot?
Can I shoot 22 lr and maybe up to 308? Leave the 45-70 and 12ga in the safe? How about pistol shooting??
Thanks

Yeah, they need a faster twist to stabilize. Think they were designed for suppressor use. I have a brick somewhere. Friend tried some in his 550 but no joy, but his wife tried them in her Ruger Super single six and they shot very well

Also, how sharp should the firing pin be on a SAA? I picked up a nickled 357mag that pierces primers regularly. Even with factory 38 spcl ammo. If you dropped the hammer on your finger, you would have quite a hole in your finger.

Wonder if the pressure would be lower with a lightly lubed bullet making for a lowered coefficient of friction. Not as much resistance pushing the bullet down the bore giving a bit higher rate of acceleration. Higher velocities with lower pressures?
