Re: Browning BL-22 vs. 9422
I had a nice little BL-22 years ago. Great fun gun, well made and reliable, and considerably lighter than either a Win or Marlin if I recall. Only thing against it for me was that I could never get used to the short lever throw compared to the Winchester' or Marlin's that I've owned. It was awkward ...

Replacement barrel for Winchester Model 71 in .348
Does anyone know where I can find a barrel for a Winchester Model 71 in .348?
My customer bought a Browning 71 takeoff barrrel, but the thread diameter is not the same.
Any leads on a quality replacement barrel will be most appreciated. Thanks! Joe

Chamber possibly bulged?
I'm going to do a chamber cast on a Model 71 Win, thus the need for the chamber dimensions. My customer fired a serious overload, and now factory load empty cases appear to be excessively largely expanded in the body area. There is some headspace, but nothing to be too concerned with in a well used ...

Thanks for the welcomes!
I had a few posts from about a year ago, but they somehow got wiped out when this site went into temorary remission some time back. I "re- joined" somehow in December apparently it says. This is a great place and I lurk here a lot, but never have much to say. Great bunch of folks here. Tha...
