Congratulations to Y2K, you and Mom. Our troop has found that it is a "family" affair to get the Scout to the Eagle rank. I don't mean that the family does the work and the Scout sets back but it takes a lot of time over several years and the support from parents is a very big deal. As par...

I do some buying, selling and trading and don't miss most of them, and I do have some "keepers" that will never leave. The ONE that I wish I still had was the first revolver I ever bought in 1975. It was a High Standard Durango model in 22 cal. I was just a cool little 22 that was my 1st. ...

These things are ugly and don't do much for me. But, I have one or two and will always have them around. IMHO they are versatile, easy to shoot and carry, and would be my preference in a bad situation. I'd still rather shoot my leveractions and Sharps. When I'm showing off these are the last thing o...

I like the contoured cylinder on the GP100 and the half lugged barrel. If they'd ship it cut for moon clips that would be the perfect package. I think Ruger is chasing the S-W 686 SSR Pro with this model and they are doing a good job but I also see they are asking S-W prices too.
