Plenty of rain in Central Illinois. I think we're 8-9 inches over normal for the year. Not much harvesting going on here.

Re: Who needs the .44's anyway?

I'll keep my 44's because I like them. I started with that several years ago and that is what I'm set up for. That 45 Colt is a bit bigger, just like the 41 is a bit smaller. Who cares they'll all do the job very nicely. I don't want alot of different calibers so there I am.

After reading all this you may want to get another. This is America. If ya want to sell it, sell it and don't look back. Here's my but. BUT, as handy as the 38-357 combo is, my gut feeling is this will be one you wished had not gotten away.

Re: Got my new Hunting Rifle - she's a beauty !

I get to thinking about a 45-70 SBL. I really like the way they are set up. I have a 1894SS and I am set up to reload that along with a couple of 44 revolvers. I installed a sling, some Skinner sights, and alot of shooting. I also think of that as my Mini Guide Gun. I'm sure it will never get a shor...

Enjoy your retirement, and best of luck for your mother. Stress to work the rehab hard. I've been through two knee replacements. I worked harder at that than anything I've ever done. I came out great. Anyone I know with a bad replaced joint story didn't hit the rehab hard.

I believe I would have taken the shot (shots) to protect my property. It is a beaytiful animal, and a killing machine. If I had a heard I would not be serving it my beef. If he didn't take the shot now, he'll have more dead cattle before he gets another shot. If he ever gets another shot.
