Bill ... I have Christy's .45 Colt cylinder I will send you if you want it. That old gun could be brought back ... I've seen worse that were. Depends if you want to put the money in it or not ... but either way, the cylinder is yours if you want it. The barrel I was speaking of is a 44 but I think ...

I load a 200 grain RNFP that I cast of 20:1 for the four 73s that live here. Mostly propelled by ffg Goex but sometimes I load the 200 grain XTP over some H-110/WW296. Too much trouble to look up how much so I just won't tell you. The rifles are 2 Uberti. One is the 24 inch octagon while the other i...

You can buy a new set of links from Lee Shaver that are made of the best tool steel and heat treated to make them far superior to the originals. I have a Danish roller but mine was in 11.7 x 51R. My Dad's best friend liberated it during WWII and gave it to me when I was 12. That 12 year old borrowed a 45-70 reamer and opened the chamber to take a 45-70. When I got old enough to figure out I needed to slug the barrel I found it to be .461 dia...

Beautiful rifle sir. Looks like it's going to be a shooter. Three 45-70s here, (I sold the trap door) and there is an 86 in 45-90 if that counts. Yeah, and if it has the short follower in the magazine it will hold 6 + 1 in the barrel. You really don't need an extended magazine on a model 12. I'd want a walnut stock on it instead of whatever that blond wood it.
