Like OS, I have taken in one already and have room for another. My old SRC 94 in 25-35 is the second center fire rifle I've ever owned. Bought it from the corner of a service station in northwest Arkansas for $22.50. Let's see, I was driving a '40 Ford so that would have been about '58?

I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to drill the 86's tang. The originals had the hole already and just a screw blank in the hole. Would look more original. I have the Marbles tang sight on my 86 in 45-90 and yes it taps my glasses from the bench if I forget to give it enough room. Drill the hole ...

I use the two sight system on my 86, 45-90. It has a Redfield Sourdough front, the original Winchester rear and a Marbles tang sight. The barrel sight is regulated for 100 yards and the tang for 200. Just flip up the tang sight and you are looking over the barrel sight. No loose pieces to be lost. V...

Bob, I load my 32-20s with the 115 grain bullets and just light plinking/squirrel loads. The Lee Factory Crimp dies are wonderful for the "dash" cartridges. I have a bunch of them in other calibers too. I'm a caster but bought bullets for the 32-20. Cheaper than molds, sizing dies etc.
