I really love the XTPs. Use them in my muzzle loader with sabots and get excellent results. Have recovered many bullets from white-tails and they look just like the ones in the pictures posted above. The Navy grip frame ended up on the SAA but I have to wrap my pinky under the grip on it while the Army grip frame is about 3/8" longer and has room for my pinky. I find that the little finger curled under the grip keeps in from rolling up in recoil and necessitating a shift in grip between sho...

The carb cleaner like Joe said. After a lot of use, bullet lube builds up in the seating and crimp dies. Carb cleaner works for this too. Then use your air hose to blow out the dies. I think that Lee factory crimp die is the best thing since sliced bread. It should probably be lubed inside with some...

I had a 71 Browning that was re-barreled to 50-110 EX with an original Winchester barrel. The twist was very slow and even with light bullets would never give me the kind of groups that I wanted so I traded it off.

Actually it was Eli Whitney who revolutionized mass production. The Walker Colts were manufactured in his plant under contract to Colt and Colt got the tooling and copied the production techniques he learned from Whitney. Created interchangeable fits.

Ysabel, I buy mine from Powder Inc., 25# at a time and he will let you mix it so I get mostly Goex and maybe 5# of Swiss for the more accurate loads.
