Bought a bunch due to availability. Limited testing-2 boxes at 300M yielded about MOA from plain jane AR carbine. Clean enough. Use their 762-54R brass and it seems ti=o be good quality. 3-4 reloads on limited sample with good performance.

From looking at the targets it appears that not all the bullets were flying "point on center". Some of the accuracy/precision issues may be the lack of stability, hence the beginning "keyholes". Target #4 appears to have the greatest offenders.

I use the Lee 255gr SWC unsized and tumble lubed with about 11 gr of AL 7. Don't know the velocity, but it shoots well in the Redhawk and Smith. The puma shoots it OK but leads too much for my taste.

It has been said that during the revolution it took about 200 rounds fired to produce a casualty. WW2 took about 20000 per casualty, Vietnam estimates run 200,000. I don't think we know about Iraq and Astan. Sounds like marksmanship has fallen off.

Only one! I guess you'd have to go with something substantial and sturdy. Id go with a machete , something along the order of a Kukri., or a 14 or15 inch heavy blade traditional machete. Better quality steel than is usually seen would be essential.

I think the Ruger 204 is the fastest practical, useful production cartridge / rifle combination. I think there's a viable factory load at 4250. I found Boyds has new Rossi buttstocks in walnut for 65$, but I just hate to cut up a decent piece of wood. The stock on the carbine is Brazils best and really is too good for me to bubba butcher. Just hoping for one of the disposable buttstocks.

You've just described the easy way to check the system. Trickle charge the battery overnight , then wait 24 hours--If it doesn't start then it needs a battery replacement. As they said don't get a nearly adequate battery.

I use the cheaper black sand, at about 1.8 times as heavy as play sand. But the nearest range I shoot at is only 600 yes. About 15$ for 18 # or the other way around. Shipping is unkind however.

The 350 gr brass spritzer bt starting at 3150 is still super sonic at 2900 yd at my back yard atmospherics. Midrange tragectory at 1000yd is only 5 feet. Consensus is that gasring alignment is of no consequence. Worn or loose rings however are a problem. Would it be simpler to pull the extractor and fire it, then replace and check for "stickiness"?
