Would worry about that Rossi Ranch Hand maresleg in terms of capacity. You're only getting 5 or 6 in that thing. Though if you want a hicap beater that will get you through the night, go old school. Kinda with AJMD on this one. If I can't hi-cap it, why don't I just buy a hipoint carbine and save myself half the cost? If cosmetics are still an issue, get that aftermarket stock and make it look like a Beretta and still be way under cost. I'd pair the system to a glock, but not a 1911 due to maga...

Only problem with keltec products is that finding them is like finding unicorn droppings, though I will give them credit-- their SU16 a/b/ca series seems to be popping up more at reasonable prices. In a 1911 it intrigues me. Wound cavity through ballistic gelatin suggest similar characteristics to a 9mm. It seems to perform better than 9mm on hog leg. Not sure I would trust it at range where it starts to lose all that velocity with no mass to back it up, but inside gun-fighting distances it lo...

I'd take a 180 gr. .357 bullet going 1700 fps, or a 200 going 1600 any day over a .223. Much easier snap shooting a rifle with a quick hammer or lever rather than racking a round into semi auto; rifle or pistol.
