I have been there also. Wind River Rifle quoted me 6 months to restore a 1876 Win for me. Almost took 2 years to get it back. Email after email, phone call after phone call same old story. They just need to put it together. I had to threaten them sevral times to get it back. I was at the point of ca...

That's what kills me. They even say D.C has some of the most strict gun control laws around, but there gun crime is still high. Well, no kidding. The day these people finally figure out that criminals don't follow laws will be a good day. I would laugh in the face of any cop or mayor asking for cons...

The are nastly litter critters. They are alive and well in upper Michigan. I have ran into a few the last 10 years or so. For years the DNR said there was no wolves or big cats walking around. Bull spit. Hunters for years were telling them what they were seeing. It is humbling to have a wolf or wolv...

Some people have to face the fact that you get what you pay for. I have quite a few Randalls and I use everyone of them. I am carrying one now in Afghanistan. Collectors are what drove the prices and waiting time up. If you order from Randall, the cost for the average knife is $300-$350. Not bad for...

I am just waiting for the Hollywood types to file suit or protest. These people have never left California and have never lived in wolf country. As much as I do love them, they can be destructive and I have seen it first hand. For years in Michigan, the DNR said that there was no wolf population. I ...

What a load of stuff. If we as gun owners were smart, we would petition the ammunition manufacturers to stop selling to the state of California period. It's costing them alot of money to micro stamp a darn casing. Look what happened with Ronnie Barrett. No more 50 bmg's for California LE's after the...

Marriage and relationships are tuff sometimes, but you don’t want to ever cross that line. Having being married with two daughters of my own, I dread the day I am faced with that situation. Its the same thing I went through with my 76 Win. The rifle was given to me by a friend of the family. It was in rough shape and missing alot. His sister wanted to make a lamp out of it. The gun was originally a round barrel in 45-60. The barrel was a sewer and had alot of pitting at the muzzle. The outside of the barrel was also pretty bad. I mean deep pitting. All in all, they did a hell of a job. All lettering is crisp and looks brand new. All edges are sharp and they is not one ...

Finally got my 1876 Win back, but not happy at all
Well, its been about 19 months that my 76 was gone for. Just a little back ground. I received this rifle for free from a friend of the family. He got it from his grandfather who passed down along with hundreds of others. Before leaving for a hunt in Canada together, I spotted it on his wall. I asked...
