This has happened to a friend of mine. The family farm is only 90 acres but they built houses all around him now. He hunts and still plinks, but not without calls to the sheriff. As I understand now, they are trying to re-zone him out of there. But he is putting up a good fight

I am lucky. They are building a Cabelas less than 10 miles from my house in Rapid City, SD. I was looking at getting a part time job there on the weekends just to get my foot in the door when I retire and for some extra toy's. I would be interested in what is said also

We can bring back anything before 1898. Anything after that is off limits to us. It was 44WCF. Has to be an antique per our government. I plan on bringing back a couple brown Bess' and martini Henry's.

The gun was originally a round barrel in 45-60. The barrel was a sewer and had alot of pitting at the muzzle. The outside of the barrel was also pretty bad. I mean deep pitting. I understand Kansas Ed, but I was originally quoted 10-12 weeks. Granted I had to find a hammer for it (which they did not re checker)and it took a few months, but again it is not what I paid for and not what I asked for. I will cherish it and shoot it, but principle is principle.

Thanks for the head up on the barrel. It really is a pretty rifle and I am looking forward to re stocking and shooting her. But when someone pays that much, I expect that I get what I asked for.

Try a nylon punch and hammer or brass punch and hammer. Neither will jack up the sight. Nylon punches do not last very long, but work pretty good
