I use that bullet in my rifles. They work perfectly at 30-30 speeds with good expansion. The Deer do not seem to like them very much though!

When working up a load always start at the low end, but never lower than the lowest listed in your manual due to the possibility of a hang fire. Biggest rifle I ever shot was a Remington 700 Classic in 8mm Remington Magnum. It wasn't bad at all. Far worse were 3" 12 Gauge slugs. If I am ever forced to use a shotgun again it will be 2 3/4 inchers.
