You'd have to d&t the receiver for a receiver sight, but Lyman and Marble's make tang sights that will fit the existing holes in the tang.

I used to have an older 1894CL in 32-20 a few years ago. The problem with these rifles in they have a very short throat. I could not get the Speer or Hornady bullets to chamber in mine without modifying my brass (R-P). All you need to do is trim your brass back a bit. Then you can seat to the cannel...
