I to like a bit more lenght on a gun & a cresent style stock fits me poorly so ive added a pad a few times

At todays prices i would say thats a good buy, it would be hard to find a pre 64 94 at that price

I use it all the time for rifle or hand gun, plain base or gas check, use the lee sizer also for seating g.c.
i warm the LLA & then warm the bullets with a hair dryer & then tumble lube them
befor sizeing i use a bit of LlA

In the past nearly 60 years ive had many 22 hand guns, use to trap & ran hounds for coon, all i ever used was a 22 revolver. now a 22 is seldom used but the High Standard double nine is my favorite for the past 30 years very easy to load ( for a 22) & very easy to schuck the emptys ollogger

After having 8 45 Colt in the Ruger Vaquero or blackhawk, i think you made a very good trade!
Any other Ruger ive had or have now would & will shoot very good, from 22 - 454, i gave up on the 45 Colt

Maybe you could make a trade with some one for 223 ammo?
other wise i would pull the bullets a dump at least 2 grains less powder back in the case
Hornady manual says 223 at 55,000 psi & 5.56 at 60.000 psi with a longer throat
