1887 was returned to Legendary Guns, great manager, traded for a sweet little side by side coach gun... I will post pics later!

I could have traded for another 87 but my mouth was soured and I just didnt want to trust another.

I dont even worry about loading just two. fast or other wise I dont shoot cas/sass anymore. I just wanted it to function period!

Thanks all! Steve I forgot to say that after I got off the phone with you I called Marty over at IAC and he gave me the number for who does his warrenty work and told me to send it over... But I just couldnt wait so in those hours I oiled and played with the loose screws.... when they were loose it ...

The odd thing is that when you release the lever to takedown, you pull the barrel directly out instead of it being half threaded like normal takedowns. It instead has just a groove cut in it for the lock mechanism to latch into. but the barrel fits the reciever so tight that you have to be perfectly...

The ones on this side of the border have a slightly longer barrel (22") and the wood is stained differently (kind of orange/red) but I think those are the only differences. Once I get it I'll post some pics/comments on it. I would be interested in how well it functions! ie is it jam free enoug...

Well, it's not a .405 caliber but it sure is a Winchester 95 in 30-06 (one of 10,000 made in 1995 by Miroku under license - only 3,000 were in this Hi Grade).
