Re: Lathes and 'Mini-mills'...???
Much can be done with either machine. If I had had the capitol after school for a good lathe and a Bridgeport I would never leave the house except to go shoot new rifles and take chips to the scrap yard! Actually a lathe with a milling attachment would do fine in any shop. We had a horizontal mill f...

Major drool factor there Frank!
I bought this blank in school, set me back $190 then. I sat on it for about 6 months trying to decide what to put it on. Ultimately it became a 77/22 stock. It is Claro walnut and fiddleback from tip to butt.

I used to shoot Remington 3200s for trap. One I had was a Competition Special model that had wood to die for! It had color, figure like no other factory gun. It was EXIBITION wood. When I was in gunsmith school we had a guy come do a summer class for competition shotguns, he was a 3200 guy and when ...

I admit it I'm a sucker for pretty walnut. I've been known to drool some as well. So we started a kitchen job this morning. It's all natural finish black walnut. I missed the boat on the 96/44! The prices are crazy now.I should've bought one to go with my Deerstalker carbine. Only time in my life I dropped a brand new scope into rings, tightened it down and it was dead nuts at 50 yards! Shot a 1hole 3 shot group. I should have bought one each of the 96s, 77 ...

I load 410 but not with 300MP. I would go to the manufacturer for specific load data. I don't have my load books handy to look for any recipes at the moment.
Please post data if you find anything.
I use lilgun and 296 mostly. I have also used 20/28 for a slug load- another unobtanium powder!

Certainly worth a try. I've not loaded for 380 or much plated bullets.
Nice thing about the Lee crimp dies is they are inexpensive enough to try and cure the setback problem.

Yes Bill still frozen. Prevents structural meltdown at 225°.
I made a foil boat to stop it from running all over if I screwed up and left it too long.
Also, I used left over rub from the pork shoulder. The rub had kosher salt in it and the cream cheese is a tad salty, delicious but very good!

It's awesome Bill. Just remember NO SALT in the tub you put on it. I used a little of what I had left from the shoulder and the cream cheese although it tastes great is a tad salty.
I had frozen this block prior, rubbed it and was smoking about 225°.
