Yeah the only thing green here the trim on the house, shop & shed! The yard is mud between the frost in the ground and the inch of ice on top. I'm going to need a tiller myself, with all the rain we had here and the dogs my grass is gone!

Wow that seems higher priced then I remember the MSRP. But I suppose you have import fees as well.
Now if they made it 410 on top of SxS 28 it would be the best of both worlds!

Yup love my Red Label 28!
GK- there is a company now making a tri- barrel in 410,28, cant remember the name now. It's your usual SxS with the 3rd barrel as the top rib. The reviews were good.

28 has been my favorite for many years as well. I always shot better skeet scores with a 28 too! I'm a a shotgun shooter by trade, now I shoot Olympic trap competitively and we use 24 gram of shot - about 13/16s of shot- not far off of 20&28 shot charges and targets break just fine. It's funny, ...

Pitchy that is a beautiful SXS I had a Stevens 311 20ga when I was young that I sure wish I'd kept! I did find out what a .410 will not do and that is kill a coyote at 35 yards with #6 copper coated shot. I took this pump out to the orchard hoping to see a rabbit or two and mister coyote ran by me....

My CZ SxS has 28" barrels, 4 &3/4 lbs HAD 10 lbs trigger pulls! I scattered it out and deburred the receiver where the triggers were dragging and cut the pulls in half. Still a little heavy but with heavy gloves I'll keep 5 lbs.

Yes sir the 410 is much more effective than people think. I find open chokes are better, the long shot column and tight chokes cause flyers . I do use my 410 CZ with IC & M fixed chokes for preserve birds. I use 7&1/2s, 6s and sometimes 4s.(although I really prefer my 28) 410 slugs are quite...

I've been thinking about cleaning sharks... try going from nose to tail with your knife. The denticles on the hide are actually like teeth and they are point backwards. Also instead of using a good knife use a utility knife and throw the blades away- no need to wreck the edge on your buck.

I think the levergun applications would be limited by what seems to be a primary feature of this round -- headspacing on the case mouth. To me this would seem to rule out tube-magazine designs since the crimping necessary to prevent bullet set-back in tube mags doesn't mix well with headspacing on ...
