Re: Military Sporters
Everyone is busy de-sporterizing all the Enfield No. 4's that were cut down in Canada in the 50's and 60's. New wood and sling swivels etc, but if the bayonet lug was lopped off to shorten the barrel (often done), it can't be re-furbished. Unmolested examples are going now for up to $1,500.00

I ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THAT TWO-HAND GRIP. IT'S A BALL BEARING SUPPORT. I HAVE CONVERTED A WOBBLY-SHOT SHOOTER INTO A GROUPING SHOT SHOOTER BY USING A BETTER GRIP. 1942 called. They wanted to let you know that the military no longer trains this grip. :D That aside, it's full of interest...

With all the knife making activity around the homestead, my F.I.L. brought out a knife he had bought 60 plus years ago while on a moose hunting trip in Canada. I was a big Dwight fan when he still had Pete Anderson as his lead guitar/producer/band leader.
Dwight and Pete were keeping real traditional twangy country music alive, with a Bakersfield vibe.
Then Dwight got sidetracked by acting and lost Pete.
He can still sing though.

I ordered The Lighthorsemen recently in Blu-ray, and the picture is spectacular. The military gear in this movie is very accurate, and for anyone who likes the SMLE No.1 MkIII it's the best. They focus too much on the lad who can't shoot the enemy, but the charge and the battle scenes are inspiring....

The domestic auto market is based in the United States, with a lot of support from Canada. That is a very unique Puma, I've never seen one like that. For field-dressing game animals like white tail deer, most hunters advocate a drop-point blade of moderate size, say 2 1/2" to 3" blade. For a large animal like a 1200 pound moose, however, I also use a larger blade such as my Puma...
