I have plenty of my own .32 brass but I won't turn by back on any once fired brass I find in the brass bucket at my club.Over the last month or so I've plucked 60 pcs. of brass (30 pcs. of rem.and 30pcs.of hornady brass)from that bucket.It's not a lot but you can't beat the price.So if you could use...

Thanks for the heads up.I emailed a question to them and got a fast response.I then ordered a .223 shell plate for my Lee pro 1000 this morning,checked the status this afternoon and it had shipped.The place runs like a well oiled machine..I use a few Lee products ,ain't got no complaints..

I have a contender with a 14in. .223 barrel.It's set up with bipod and 6x24 tasco rifle scope.It is accurate and flat out FUN to shoot.I'm able to shoot it out to 300yds at the club I belong to.

RCBS 8-170-fngc sized at .323.Using 16 grs. of 2400 you could shoot all day without rubbing your shoulder afterwards.Also used 24 grs.of Reloder 7,another mid-range load.BIL just got a chrono so will be checking velocities soon.Some day I'll try hollow pointing this bullet and see how that works.

Howdy,That's the same cycling feel I have with my '61'94.It has a pretty stiff main spring and makes me wonder why the 94 was designed with a strain screw.Whether the strain screw is in or out,I do not notice any difference(trigger pull or hammer thrust).

Bill, I've had good results using 16grs. of All.2400 under the RCBS 32 -170 cast bullet.Nice mild load and happy with the accuracy out to 50 yds.Barrel on my Win 94 doesn't over heat from long strings of shooting.Although using this cast bullet,the bullet is slightly engraved from the lands.Good luc...

yes,it does soften them.i tried it on some .32 cal.bullets that were commercially cast.i tested them by putting them nose to nose in a vise.the annealed one flattened easily while the non-annealed held firm.never did test them in the field.it does take practice to anneal properly(slight color change...

and alot of fun.
I put a gold bead front sight(modified) and WillIams rear(WGRS 54) on
it.I've shot bricks of super colibris through it without a hitch.

I e-mailed Hornady that same exact question about their 170gr.JFP.
Their response was that this bullet is designed to reliably expand between 1600-1700fps(impact velocity).

I'd like to see the the MXLR chambered in a high stepping FTX .22 centerfire rd.How about the .204 Ruger loaded w/ the FTX bullet.That would be a real needle blower.
IMO the .338ME would handle just about any N.American game.
