They don't have photos up but it's a 99F.
From their used guns page...
Savage 99F Classic lever action in .358Win. Blue receiver hardwood stock. Brass cartridge counter. 1600.00

It was still there yesterday.

Question for the Mannlicher Schoenauer owners

Picked up a well-hunted model 1903 carbine and I've been wanting to mount a peep sight. I've had a couple of mannlichers and over the years picked up a couple of lyman no. 36 swing away peep sights, MS-24 and MS-50. It looks like the MS-24 replaces the bolt release like the earlier version just with...

50-100-450 twist rate questions

Hey Guys, can you point me to anything that would explain how fast a 450gr barnes original or similar bullet could expect to be driven in a barrel with 1 in 36" twist? I know that Winchester originally started with a 1 in 48" twist for the 50-100-450 and later changed it but I'd like to understand t...

One had been shortened to 4 inches with a wide hammer spur welded on and the other was a rough model 1909. Both are in 45 colt.

The previous owner had also converted another 71 deluxe to full length mag with the 24 inch barrel. He was in his 70s and raising money for a sailboat. If he's still available I'll ask who did the work, he may have done it himself though.

Re: Who fiddles with a .32 ACP these days?

Doc, the plan is to get her to the range and shoot my revolvers, then rent a s&w shield or similar to see what she likes. If she likes an auto she'll need one sprung to easily rack the slide.

If she insists on the 32, I'll look for one that will handle 32 mag.
